welcome to my print &
pattern portfolio!
One of my favorite takeaways from attending the Savannah College of Art and Design would be the textile design training I received for my minor in Fibers. Having concentrated in digital surface design for print and pattern development, pursuing my minor for three years offered me not only a creative outlet to explore my innate interest in illustration, but also as a means to widen my scope of the textile industry at large for my B.F.A. in Fashion Marketing and Management.
Ultimately, my degree focuses on the business and promotion of these print and pattern designs. Yet, now with an appreciation and better understanding of the efforts that go into textile development, I am eager to explore more opportunities that unite these areas of study!
Below you will find two flip-through booklets highlighting my work from two Fibers courses I took in 2021: FIBR 276 Digital Surface Design: Image, Pattern, and Presentation and FIBR 318 Digital Surface Design: Print and Pattern Development.
