From My Kitchen to Yours was created in the Fall of 2020 during my introduction to screen printing and mono printing which resulted in a set of five 10 x 10” kitchen cloths. Learning basic methods of these techniques via Zoom, the end product is a reflection of my trials and errors that embraced the process that comes along with learning a new technique. Design motifs were pulled from my class sketchbook to guide the direction of each kitchen towel.

As this project focused greatly on understanding the process of various techniques, having a sketchbook to store my thoughts and design approaches became extremely helpful.
